• The Incessant Propaganda Theory

I have noticed that when I mention the word “Communism” to somebody, there is an immediate visceral and defensive reaction. We have been conditioned as a society to react this way any time we hear a Political Science term that we disagree with. This reaction seems to happen the most with Communism, but with all “political” schools of thought. Words have meanings and connotations associated with them that change over time. Before you react to my choice of words and close your mind, please just allow me to explain myself.

For as long as the existence of wealth inequality has been permitted by society, society has suffered. This goes back as far as humanity goes back. Before historical records. The principle ideas of Communism resonate with all who have empathy. Most people just don’t realize this. Everyone with empathy looks at the state of the world and understands that there is something deeply wrong with how it works.

Everyone comes to different conclusions on why this is. Some may come to the conclusion that this is just how the world works, and that it’s survival of the fittest. Some may conclude that this is only God testing them and that a perfect society might be enjoyed in the afterlife. Some can’t take the suffering and perish. Sometimes self-inflicted, sometimes not; but always by choice.

*By the choices consistently made by the people ruling over us who lack empathy and choose to hoard wealth and resources to the detriment of humanity. They don’t care if society suffers. They don’t care if humanity ends. So long as they maintain their power until death. This is done for no reason other than to have power over others. Nobody with empathy would make that choice. It’s immoral.

The issue is that our world’s most evil and manipulative people all share this same quality. They are incapable of possessing empathy themselves and will stop at nothing to continue pursuing this never ending pursuit of power over individual people and society as a whole. It is inevitable.

Ever since society allowed one of these empathy-lacking manipulators to hoard wealth and resources to the detriment of others, maintaining the status quo became the sole objective of these hoarders of capital. From there the incessant propaganda perpetrated by these evil people was pushed onto society.

We see today how money controls everything. It rules mainstream news outlets on both sides of the political spectrum, it rules society’s values and culture, it rules humanity. But it doesn’t have to. We only believe that it has to be this way because throughout all of human history, these people who lack empathy have been the ones with all of the power. All of the resources. All of the wealth. They have constantly manipulated and controlled society through incessant propaganda and through bloodshed. It’s a known fact that a true Communist Society has never been allowed to peacefully exist and evolve. Who would go out of their way to interfere with such a thing? These empathy-lacking hoarders of wealth of course. They will do anything they can to hold onto their control of humanity, and they don’t care who suffers because of it. They’re incapable of caring.

Disregard all connotations you have with the words you read in this article and ALL articles – anything you read – especially words that you would consider political. Always pay attention to your unconscious biases. Political Science is a field of theory with words constantly evolving and changing meaning. This is a necessary warning. It is ingrained in our society to hate Communism, but truthfully, everybody but those lacking empathy believes in its principles whether they know it or not.

When you read the word Communism just consider it this sentiment:

Any society that allows the personal hoarding of resources to occur is bound to have needless suffering occur. Those lacking empathy are few, but they will always end up rising to the top in this kind of society. And from there they will never relinquish control. There’s more than enough resources to go around on this Earth. Curiosity and human nature will spark society’s advancements, and it will be allowed to flourish in this sort of society.

To those reading this who already self-identify as Communist or even Socialist this warning is still needed.

When I mention Anarchism you must disregard all connotations with that word as well. Nobody is immune to propaganda, especially regarding Communism. It is deeply ingrained in society with the intention to divide humanity and allow those lacking empathy to keep their control. There’s even a lot of division amongst those already calling themselves Communist. This is by design, of course.

When you read the word Anarchism consider it this sentiment:

Anarchism is the belief in a classless society. It’s the belief that nobody is born with any more right to wealth, resources, life, etc., and it is the belief that a society full of good-hearted people who have empathy will naturally regulate itself. Those bad apples who don’t have empathy will naturally be ostracized from society and humanity will be able to properly flourish. Needless suffering can be wholly eradicated from society.

You just have to ensure that nobody is allowed to privately hoard wealth and resources. If that were society’s #1 rule humanity would prosper.

It appears to me that both sentiments are quite similar when you really break it down. Don’t let the incessant propaganda divide us. Don’t allow the desire of the few to rule the will of us all. Change is possible. We must be class conscious and support our fellow humans. Always remind yourself that you are NOT immune to propaganda. Nobody is. Question everything, including this article. Just please truly listen. Don’t just read this; open your mind and truly listen and consider what I’m saying. Society can be fixed on a global scale. Unnecessary suffering can be eliminated from this world entirely. This is not some far-fetched impossible goal to achieve; we’ve just been collectively manipulated as a society to believe that it’s impossible. We have been manipulated into believing this ideal world will have MORE suffering than society today. That just makes no logical sense. And to be clear, when I write “society” I mean it as in all of humanity. Globally. These global issues all stem from living in a society that allows even one individual to die due to a lack of resources. That should simply never be able to occur with the resources and technology that we have on this earth. The fact that it does CONSTANTLY shows the flaws of a society that allows the private hoarding of wealth and resources.

*DISCLAIMER: It is important that I be very clear and state the following: this rare flaw can occur in any human being, regardless of race, nation, sexual orientation, beliefs, etc.. Unfortunately some people are just born evil.

We are all broken people living under this current way of life. This is what causes the rest of us to do bad things. We misdirect the anger that has culminated in us all – anger that has been caused by this broken system. History has given us countless examples of what happens when you blame the wrong people for society’s flaws – don’t ever allow that to happen again.

  • I have already mentioned the importance of choice of language, not in writing, but in convincing people to listen. Not to stop and hear you, but to truly open their minds and listen. Even seemingly benign words automatically become associated with positive and negative connotations over time, losing the words’ original intended meaning. This can be seen with a word like “retarded”, previously meaning intellectually disabled. Or a word like “queer”, previously meaning strange or peculiar. Less offensive words replaced their original meanings. It is widely regarded that the word “queer” wasn’t even associated with a person’s identity until 1894 despite it having been used since the 16th century.

This slow change of the meaning of words doesn’t just happen for words that become offensive; it happens for all words. The existence of Etymology as a field of study makes this clear.

So when I write a word like “manipulate” as in to manipulate another person, you probably feel something negative in you emotionally. Pay attention and notice that feeling. When I write a word like “propaganda” you probably feel something similar. When I write a word like “Communism” you might be feeling it a lot more. That isn’t fair to those words. That isn’t fair to those that choose to use them either. You need context to understand what someone means when you listen to them speak. You can manipulate a person in an intentional and positive way. Like convincing a loved one to go to rehab. Or grounding your child to make sure they do well in school. These are both examples of manipulating someone to help themselves. We just soften the language we use when it is positive. For most concepts like this, we have other words to use, so we end up subconsciously softening our language. Of course there is nuance to things, but my point is that the euphemism treadmill applies to more words than many people think. It applies to all words. That is why language changes. This is why so many words have multiple meanings both historically and today as we use them commonly.

Communism is a well defined concept in modern literature. It is much harder to soften the language around that. Perhaps when you read the word “Communism” replace it with “Pathosism”. Coming from the Greek word Pathos meaning
1: an element in experience or in artistic representation evoking pity or compassion – 2: an emotion of sympathetic pity. Communism (or Pathosism) is an idea that all great thinkers have come to.

There is a reason why Communism is tried and has failed repeatedly throughout history; deep down every human with empathy understands that wealth and resource inequality should not exist. It doesn’t make logical sense. Why should ANYBODY be born without an automatic right to live on this earth? There are enough resources for everybody. All literature written by people who haven’t come to this realization consciously is automatically flawed in this society due to the Incessant Propaganda. There will always be anti-communist propaganda that influences their works. They will claim that this society is paradoxical, doubting human nature as evil, or making the claim that money is an evil thing that corrupts all humans.

This is wildly untrue. Communism at its core is the belief that everyone has the right to live. I give Pathosism this same definition. Needless suffering does not have to happen on this earth. Humanity can be free from unjust suffering. There can also exist a type of market in this society. So long as the core principles of Pathosism persist. All humans are born with a right to live, no matter what. So long as nobody be allowed to hoard resources, society will prosper. Society will regulate itself – all those who possess empathy couldn’t stand to watch an innocent human die if they had the resources to save them at their disposal. That would be absurd. Only someone who does NOT possess empathy could allow this to happen. Don’t get caught up in the details of how we get there. The good of humanity will make sure it is as good as possible. Just never forget who is to blame for ALL of society’s problems right now. People who don’t have empathy. They are incapable of caring if we live or die. They need the power over us. They need the control. And it is not theirs’ to have. It is our own.
